  •  Gel-delivery helps ATRIDOX flow down to the source of the periodontitis for effective treatment.
  •  Flexible dosing makes treatment more efficient. Treat one or more sites in one sitting.

Preparation and Application: Once you get it, you’ve got it!

Preparing and administering ATRIDOX only takes a few minutes by following these simple directions.

Preparation

  1. Twist and lock Syringe A (indicated by red stripe) containing liquid polymer with Syringe B containing doxycycline powder.
  2. Inject contents of Syringe A into Syringe B and then push contents back into Syringe A. Mix syringes back and forth 100 times (about 1 1/2 minutes). The contents must be in Syringe A when finished.
  3. Hold the coupled syringes vertically with Syringe A at bottom. Pull back on Syringe A plunger and allow contents to flow down the barrel for several seconds. Uncouple the two syringes and attach blunt cannula to Syringe A.

You’re now ready to apply ATRIDOX.

  1. Bend cannula to resemble a periodontal probe.
  2. When filling periodontal pockets,
    1. Keep cannula tip near pocket base.
    2. Fill the majority of the pocket with ATRIDOX while withdrawing the cannula tip from the pocket.
  3. Separating the cannula tip from ATRIDOX is easy. Simply turn the tip toward the tooth surface and by pressing the cannula tip on the surface of the tooth, ATRIDOX will easily separate from the cannula tip.
  4. You may also benefit from the use of a moistened hand instrument to ensure proper placement

ATRIDOX will solidify and slowly release doxycycline hyclate over a period of 21 days.1 It is bioabsorbable and does not require removal.
